Biographies
James
P. Baker graduated from Carson-Newman College with a B.S.
in Business in 1968. He started in the Commercial Real Estate
business in 1972 and founded Baker Realty Company in 1982. He
has a wide variety of real estate experience ranging from Property
Management to Brokerage and Development.
Bob
Thornton graduated from the University of Tennessee with
a B.S. in Business in 1979. He has previous experience in industrial
sales and economic development, having worked as an Industrial
Consultant for the State of Tennessee Department of Economic Community
Development before affiliating with Baker Realty in 1985. In addition,
Thornton is a member of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors
(SIOR).
Brad Maul graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney where he majored in Business Administration and Finance. Maul is also a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute. He has previous experience as Director of Business Development for the East Tennessee Economic Development Agency, a 15-county marketing and business recruitment agency, for three years.
The
background of each has enhanced his ability to better perform
the duties required to be knowledgeable and successful in brokering
and developing industrial real estate.
