Baker Realty Company sells Sea Ray Logistics building in Forks-of-the-River

Knoxville, Tenn., October, 2011 – Baker Realty Company the market leader for Industrial Real Estate in the Tennessee Valley Region, today announced it has sold the Sea Ray Logistics building for Brunswick Corporation to LORYSAN, LLC.

Bob Thornton of Baker Realty brokered the transaction. The facility which once housed the Brunswick Boat Group logistics operation consisted of 39,286 square feet situated on approximated 11 acres. Brunswick’s Riverview Plant, which is adjacent to the property, remains on the market. It consists of 200,000 square feet and 50 acres, offering rail and 3000’ of river frontage on the French Broad River. Thornton said the Riverview property is a diamond in the rough with plenty of upside. The property could be divided into 2-3 building sites, or the building expanded. With the shortage of sites in Knoxville and the added value of rail, Riverview should be attractive to companies looking to expand or relocate to this region.
