The facility is leased to Johns Manville, a roofing and insulation manufacturer and Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary, to complement their operations in Etowah, TN. The agreement was brokered by Bob Thornton, SIOR. Bob provided the following quote, “Given the uncertainties in today’s commercial markets, this agreement shows that high quality tenants and properties are still in demand. Timing is everything, and this opportunity provided the landlord with a high-quality tenant and zero vacancy losses.”
The lease of this distribution center represents the largest SF new lease transaction in the Bradley/Monroe/Loudon County area since the onset of the Covid 19 pandemic.
